The Super Falcons did not move up or down in the latest FIFA women’s ranking, four months after the last time.
The Nigerian side are still 36th in the world, the position they were in for the last ranking in August.
Indeed, the nine-time African champions have been in the 36th spot since March, retaining the position in June, August and now.
They have added one ranking point though, going from 1,621 to 1,622 after beating Algeria twice and losing to France once in friendly matches in the period under review.
The Super Falcons are still the top team in Africa, a position they have held on to since forever.
They are followed on the continent by South Africa (53rd in the world), Morocco (61st), Zambia (62nd) and Ghana (66th).
Cameroon (68th), Cote d’Ivoire (71st), Tunisia (78th), Mali (81st) and Equatorial Guinea (82nd) complete the African top 10.
Globally, the United States of America, Paris 2024 Olympics gold medallists, are holding on to the No.1 spot after deposing world champions Spain in August.
Spain are second, followed by Germany, England, Sweden, Canada, Brazil, Japan, North Korea and the Netherlands.
