Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen scored what proved to be the winner as Galatasaray defeated visiting Konyaspor 1-0 in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.
Osimhen has now scored in his last three matches for Galatasaray and taken his tally in the Turkish top flight to 12 goals in 15 matches.
Also, the 26-year-old has scored 16 goals and provided five assists in 20 appearances in all competitions this season.
Osimhen netted the game’s only goal when he converted a 20th minute penalty after he was brought down in the box.
It is a return to winning ways for Galatasaray who went into the game against Konyaspor on the back of two draws.
Saturday’s win means leaders Galatasaray have temporarily gone nine points clear of second-placed Fenerbahce in the league table.
