Nigerian striker Gift Orban scored his first goal for Hoffenheim in their 2-2 home draw with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
It was Orban’s third league appearance since his move to Hoffenheim from Lyon this January.
Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma also featured for Hoffenheim in the match.
The 22-year-old Orban was substituted on in the 63rd minute and scored just two minutes after his introduction to make it 1-1.
Hugo Ekitike got the two goals for Frankfurt while Adam Hlozek’s 95th minute goal earned Hoffenheim a share of the points.
Hoffenheim have managed just one win in their last five games (three defeats and one draw).
They 15th in the table, six points away from the relegation zone.
In LaLiga, Nigerian midfielder Christantus Uche scored and provided an assist as Getafe thrashed Real Sociedad 3-0 away on Sunday.
Uche has now scored two goals and provided two assist in 21 games in the Spanish top flight this season.
The 21-year-old opened the scoring on 72 minutes before setting up Perez for the third goal with five minutes left to play.
Getafe climb up to the 14th spot in the LaLiga table.
