Kwara United defeated Enyimba 2-0 in a rescheduled Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 16 fixtute in Ilorin on Monday.
Enyimba have now lost their last three matches in all competitions and managed just one win in their last five fixtures.
First half goals from Wasiu Alalade and Junior Aimufua sealed the win for Kwara United.
Alalade opened the scoring in the sixth minute from the penalty spot and Aimufua doubled the home team’s advantage in the 38th minute.
With the result, Kwara United climbed up to 11th in the table while Enyimba are in ninth.
Remo Stars are in the top spot after coming from 1-0 down to beat Akwa United 2-1 in Uyo on Sunday.
In second place are Rivers United, while Shooting Stars are third with a game in hand.
