Enyimba played 1-1 draw with Heartland in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in Thursday’s Oriental Derby, while Rivers United missed an opportunity to close the gap on leaders Remo Stars.

In Port Harcourt, Finidi George’s Rivers United played out a 2-2 draw with visiting Bendel Insurance to remain in the third spot.

The Pride of Rivers are seven points off top spot and one adrift of 3SC in second place, while Bendel Insurance are 17th, one point from safety and with a game in hand.
