The Junior Female Yellow Greens of Nigeria wrapped up their warm-up matches ahead of the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia on a high note after defeating Scotland on Wednesday.
The team secured a dominant 7-wicket victory over the Scotland U-19 side.
After a close battle in their first warm-up match against Pakistan on Monday, the team bounced back brilliantly to end preparations on a winning note.
Attention will now shift to the tournament proper when they will take on Samoa in their opening game on Saturday.
Their second group fixture is against New Zealand which comes up on Monday.
Then next Wednesday the Nigerian women’s team will round off the group stage with a clash against South Africa.
Sixteen teams will feature in the second edition of the 2025 U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup which will be held from January 18 to February 2.
