Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman is expected to be available for Atalanta’s UEFA Champions League second leg play-off clash with Club Brugge on Tuesday.
According to Italian publication Prima Bergamo, Lookman partially trained with the rest of the team on Sunday alongside former Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac.
The reigning CAF Player of the Year has missed the last six games across all competitions with knee problems.
His return would be a big boost for Atalanta who lost the first leg of the play-off 2-1 away to Club Brugge.
Also, this would be good news to the Super Eagles coaching crew ahead of next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
Lookman has scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 19 Serie A games this season.
Also, this term, he has bagged 14 goals in 27 matches across all competitions.
