Manchester City had to dig deep to overcome League One outfit Leyton Orient 2-1 away in the fourth round of the English FA Cup on Saturday.
Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench to net the winner with less than 20 minutes left after the home side went into the break 1-0 ahead.
Leyton took a surprise lead on 16 minutes after a lob from the middle of the pitch by Jamie Donley hit the bar and came off City keeper Stefan Ortega.
The Cityzens equalised in the 56th minute thanks to new signing Abdukodir Khusanov who deflected Nico Lewis’ shot into the net.
With 11 minutes remaining, De Bruyne bagged the winner as he ran on to Jack Grealish pass and poked it beyond the Orient goalkeeper.
At Elland Road, a brace for England-born Nigerian forward Femi Azeez earned Millwall a 2-0 win against fellow Championship side Leeds United.
Azeez opened the scoring in the 30th minute before doubling the lead 10 minutes into the second half.
The 23-year-old now has three goals in 23 appearances in all competitions for Millwall this season.
