Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru provided an assist in Lazio’s 2-0 victory over FC Twente in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night, to make it two assists and one goal for him in three matches in the competition.

The 23-year-old Nigeria international featured in the game for 90 minutes and set up Gustav Isaksen for the club’s second goal in the 87th minute.

Hosts Twente were reduced to 10 men after just 11 minutes into the game when goalkeeper Lars Unnerstall was given his marching orders for  bringing down Boulaye Dia.

Nigeria defender Bright Osayi-Samuel impressed in Fenerbahce’s 1-1 draw at home against Manchester United but he was substituted off in the 62nd minute after apparently sustaining an injury.

The Super Eagles full-back only recently returned from a knock that kept him out for a month.

Christian Eriksen put the visitors in the lead in the first half but Youssef En-Nesyri equalised four minutes after the restart.

AS Roma pipped Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico, courtesy of a 23rd minute penalty by Artem Dovbyk.

Tottenham Hotspur made it three wins in three matches in the competition with a 1-0 home victory over AZ Alkmaar.

Richarlison converted a penalty in the 53rd minute to earn the English Premier League side the win. Things went from bad to worse for the visitors when David Wolfe was shown a second yellow card.

Eintracht Frankfurt left it late to secure the points against RFS. Hugo Larsson scored the only goal of the game in the 79th minute.

Ajax Amsterdam ran riot over Qarabag at the Tofiq Bahramov Stadium as they put three goals past their hosts. Kenneth Taylor, Wout Weghorst and Nigerian striker Chuba Akpom got the goals for the Dutch side.

Spanish youth international with Nigeria heritage Samu Omorodion continued his impressive scoring form in the competition as he got on the scoresheet again in FC Porto’s 2-0 victory over Hoffenheim.

Tiago Djalo opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time before Omorodion netted his fourth goal in three matches in the competition 25 minutes from time.

Real Socieded, with Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq in their starting line-up, recorded a 2-1 victory over Maccabi Tel-Aviv away from home, courtesy of goals from Jon Pacheco and Sergio Gomez.

The hosts pulled one back through Dor Turgeman in the 81st minute, but the visitors held on for the win.

Rangers, who Nigeria internationals Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers in their line-up, were too strong for FCSB as they recorded a 4-0 win at the Ibrox Stadium.

Tom Lawrence opened the scoring after 10 minutes and the home side scored again in the 31st minute through Vaclav Cerny, who then completed his brace in the 55th minute. Hamza Igame scored the last goal 19 minutes before the end of the game.

Nice suffered a shocking 1-0 defeat to Ferencvaros in their clash when defender Moise Bombito scored an own goal in the 15th minute of the game. Pablo Rosario was sent off six minutes from time to make matters worse for the visitors.
