Leaders Liverpool continued their impressive form in the English Premier League after hammering Ipswich Town 4-1 at Anfield on Saturday.
The Reds, who have a game in hand, are six points ahead of second-placed Arsenal in the league table.
First half goals from Dominik Szonoszlai (11th minute), Mohamed Salah (35th minute) and Cody Gakpo (44th minute) put Liverpool 3-0 ahead.
Gakpo then grabbed his second goal in the 66th minute to make it 4-0.
Jacob Greaves pulled a consolation goal back for Ipswich on 90 minutes to deny Liverpool a clean sheet.
At Molineux, Arsenal edged out Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 to avoid losing more ground to Liverpool.
The Gunners were reduced to 10 men on 43 minutes after teenage defender Myles Lewis-Skelly was shown a straight red card for a dangerous foul.
Wolves failed to make their extra man count as they were also had a player, Joao Gomes, sent off in the 70th minute for two bookings.
Arsenal eventually broke the deadlock in the 74th minute as substitute Ricardo Calafiori volleyed home after a poor defensive clearance by Wolves.
At the Vitality Stadium, Nottingham Forest’s top four push suffered a setback following their 5-0 defeat to Bournemouth.
Despite the defeat Forest are still in third place three points behind Arsenal.
Super Eagles stars Ola Aina and Taiwo Awoniyi were in action for Forest.
Aina started and was taken off in the 79th minute while Awoniyi came on for the final 11 minutes of regulation time.
In other results, Paul Onuachu and Joe Aribo featured for Southampton who lost 3-1 to Newcastle, while Everton pipped Brighton 1-0.
A hat-trick from Dango Ouattara and a goal each from Justin Kluivert and Antoine Semenyo sealed the dominant home win for Bournemouth.
