Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke has been named Sevilla’s Player Of The Month for September, following impressive performances.
Ejuke made five appearances for the club in LaLiga last month and scored the winning goal in their 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid on September 24.
Since arriving at the Sanchez Ramon Pizjuan Stadium in a permanent deal from CSKA Moscow last summer, the 26-year-old has been one of Sevilla’s key players.
Last week, he was named as one of Europe’s top dribblers, beating the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior and Barcelona’s teenage sensation, Lamine Yamal.
Ejuke’s impressive form earned him a return to the Super Eagles after being left out for two years.
He is among the 23 players called up by interim head coach Austin Eguavoen for Nigeria’s double-header with Libya in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying series. The last time he featured for the senior national team was at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon.
