Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru was on target for Lazio in their 5-1 thumping of Monza in Sunday’s Series A clash.
It was the Nigeria international’s first league goal since scoring in Lazio’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta on December 28.
Dele-Bashiru has now taken his tally in the Italian top division to three goals in 15 appearances.
The 24-year-old, who came on in the 65th minute, put Lazio 5-1 up with two minutes left to play.
Former Barcelona forward Pedro had a brace while Adam Marusic and Valentin Castellanos were also on target.
Lazio climbed to fourth spot in the league table courtesy of the win against Monza.
Also on Sunday, Bright Osayi-Samuel was back in action for Fenerbahce who beat Alanyaspor 2-0 away in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Super Eagles right-back had missed Fenerbahce’s last three encounters prior to Sunday’s league fixture.
He was introduced in the 70th minute for his 14th appearance in the Turkish top flight this season.
First half goals from Sebastian Szymanski (22nd minute) and Talisca (42nd minute) sealed the win for Jose Mourinho’s men.
Fenerbahce are still second in the league table behind Victor Osimhen’s Galatasaray.
In LaLiga, Nigerian forward Christantus Uche featured for Getafe in their 1-0 win at Deportivo Alaves.
Uche was replaced in the 46th minute as Mauro Arambarri’s penalty on 44 minutes proved to be the winner.
It was Uche’s 23rd appearance in the league with two goals this term.
Getafe moved up to 14th place in LaLiga standings.
