Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze was the hero for AC Milan as his stoppage time goal secured a 3-2 win against Parma in Sunday’s Serie A clash at San Siro.
The Nigeria international had been out of action for Milan due to a hamstring injury and his last appearance was against Roma on December 29.
The 25-year-old recovered from his injury and was named in Milan’s bench in Sunday’s game.
Chukwueze was introduced in the 57th minute and netted the winner five minutes into time added on.
Matteo Cancellieri opened the scoring in the 24th minute for visiting Parma but Christian Pulisic made it 1-1 from the penalty spot.
Enrico Del Prato restored Parma’s lead with 10 minutes left before Tijani Reijnders drew Milan level in the 92nd minute.
Chukwueze then struck the dramatic winner to send San Siro into wild celebration.
The Super Eagles star has registered two goals in 18 league appearances for the Rossonerri this season.
The win means Milan moved up to sixth place in the league table.
