Chelsea defeated Wolves 3-1 at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League on Monday night to put an end to a run of matches without victory.
The Blues went into the fixture on the back of five consecutive Premier League matches without a win.
Tosin Adarabioyo, the centre-back with Nigerian heritage, got his first league goal for Chelsea while Marc Cucurella and Noni Madueke were also on target.
Matt Doherty drew Wolves level deep into first half stoppage time.
The win took Chelsea up to fourth place in the league table.
Adarabioyo opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 24th minute but in the fifth minute of first half added time Doherty levelled for the visitors.
Chelsea then scored two goals in five minutes to go 3-1 up.
First, Cucurella restored their lead on the hour mark and Madueke netted the third goal five minutes later.
Chelsea’s next league fixture is a trip to the Etihad to face a resurgent Manchester City side on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s men are unbeaten in their last five league matches, recording three wins and two draws.
