Al Hilal have made an official offer to Napoli for Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports.
The Saudi Arabia Pro League side submitted a bid of €65 million fixed fee and €5m in add-ons for Osimhen, European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday.
Napoli, who loaned Osimhen out to Galatasaray last season, are believed to be holding out for the €75m in the Nigeria international’s release clause.
Al Hilal, the most successful club in Saudi Arabia, are also awaiting a response from Osimhen after reportedly making a tempting offer worth €30m per season in wages to the 26-year-old.
Al Hilal are said to be keen on Osimhen to feature for them at the FIFA Club World Cup in the United States of America in June and July after his stellar campaign at Galatasaray.
Osimhen registered 37 goals and six assists in 41 appearances as Galatasaray clinched the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup double during his season-long loan spell.
